Veronica Leto

History is a vital subject for any Classical Christian school, and at Adolesco Prep, it is no different. This is why Veronica Leto was the obvious choice. Mrs. Leto has all the right credentials and is an advocate for the wonders of history. Veronica Leto, also one of the school’s co-founders, has a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from LSU and a Masters in Theology from Regent University. This is a pretty perfect pairing for teaching history from a Christian worldview. With her witty personality and ability to capture the attention of her students, her animated storytelling feels like traveling back in time! Veronica regularly weaves in Biblical accounts, stories of her travels, and testimonies of the Lord during her classes. She really brings history to life and signifies the importance of knowing it. Mrs. Leto currently teaches 1st through 7th grade and will become the History Department Head next year guiding her teachers as her family welcomes their fifth child. She is an active member of House on the Rock in Amite, has volunteered at Restoration House in Hammond in years past, and has experience coaching soccer as a professional National D License coach for travel teams. Her favorite daily moments are cooking with her husband, having tea with friends, reading to her 4 children at night and exploring zoos, state parks, and beaches with them. Her biggest passion outside of motherhood is traveling the world for both missions and pleasure and her hobbies include admiring design and architecture; reading Biblical historical fiction and nonfiction; and baking her newest recipe cravings.
